We have all seen the claims, ” Make $90K in three weeks, in online marketing, doing nothing”. If you believe that, pass me the tooth fairy.
Internet Marketing is no different to any other business. To be successful you have to be prepared to be educated. You need to soak up all the information you can. Anyone expecting money for nothing, can expect nothing.
If we forget the internet for a moment, and consider that tomorrow you will become an electrician. Where do you start? You have no prior knowledge or training. The first thing you would do, is try and enroll in an apprenticeship program, and work with someone who is an expert in his field. This would also involve going to college, and learning theory as well as practical. You would probably work as an apprentice for 3-5 years, then as a qualified electrician for a few years. Then you decide to start your own business. You would have to learn about running a business, buy all the equipment, and fund your projects until you get paid.
How on earth do people then believe that they can start in Online Marketing with no knowledge and earn pots of gold?
There is a very simple secret to online success, and that is Education!
The ideal online business would offer this education, as well as many other features, to enable swift success:
* A pre-defined range of products that could easily be marketed through a variety of techniques, enabling you to make a quick start. Pre-designed web-pages, capture pages and auto-messages customized in your name.
* A business with a virtual encyclopedic array of training aids to allow education to take place at your pace. Training and tutorials that include everything from the most basic marketing techniques and practical skills, through to the more complex strategies.
* Training that includes 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching from your sponsor and group to give valuable guidance on what to learn, and when. What techniques suit you, and the art of duplication. Top level webinars and tele-seminars to enhance the training with people considered experts. Keep the training fresh and of value.
* To avoid much wasted time on straight-forward technical/business queries, assistants who handle calls and answer queries. An automated order and payment system that allows orders to be completed 24 hours a day. A business where payment is immediate. Unlike MLM type schemes where you are paid after everyone else. In your account now.
So, a business like that detailed above would certainly give an Online Marketer everything you would need to be successful. Any business that contains all these features would be of tremendous benefit to experienced, and new marketers. But this business would still need your commitment, dedication, patience and self motivation to carry out the tasks. But the reward truly justifies effort.
