Choosing The Right Topic For Your Blog Post

Its easy to make your own blog, but keeping fresh new content is another story. Other marketers can easily start a niche blog, but there are large numbers of blogs that are not active around the web which speaks to the truth that many of them don’t know what to do to keep their blog alive. Blogging experts say that in order for you to keep your blog active you should post more often. It means that you need to offer new and fresh content to your blog.

You may be intimidated by the thought of having to come up with lots of topic ideas. Finding topics for your blog posts are easy if you use the following ideas.

1. Select captivating CAPTIONS

You must be able to present timely information for your readers or else no one will care to visit your site. This up to date information will help you to attract more readers. Look for headlines or captions that will surely draw the attention of other people, to put you on top of things. You can sign up for free Google Alerts and build alerts on vital words/phrases in your own niche. Also read through the headlines on DIGG. In that manner, you’ll be able to see new information and stories in your niche.

2. Consider others COMMENTS

The comments section in your blog can be a great source of writing inspiration. Let’s say you have a post on your marketing blog about keyword research. Within the comments section, a few people start asking about how to use keywords in articles for article marketing. Voila! You have your next blog post. Look through your comments section to identify topics that you can write about or questions you can answer in the form of a blog post.

3. RESOURCE lists posts

Are there some websites or other resources that your niche needs to know about? Write a few resource list posts. Resource lists posts are very easy to write and they provide maximum value to your readers because they can get the information that they need easily. When you can’t think of anything else to write about you can pull together a helpful list for your readers.

4. Be active in your COMMUNITY

Keep an eye in your niche’s environment. Look at other blogs in your niche and see what topics they are on. You can have a diverse point of view on a similar topic, or take part on the topic that the original writers failed to see. If you don’t want to agree with the writer, you have the freedom to express your own idea and opinion on your blog. Some bloggers can be an excellent source of information, so make sure that you have an involvement in the community.

5. COLLECTION of information

Bring together a list of quick guidelines that you’d like to pass on to your niche. It can be your own personal know-how within your niche, from other blog posts, or from other products in your niche. If you can’t find blog topics to write, build lists of guideline post.

Those are some tips on how you can populate your own blog. Start writing your blog post ideas on a notepad file and you will have plenty of ideas to be used for your next post.

As I am sure you noticed I did not write this article but I found the information useful so I posted it in hopes that it would help my readers (I believe in giving credit where it is due).

Simply put, this post was designed to give you creative ways to come up with ideas for your own blog posts/articles and hopefully increase traffic to your blog. We all know that, in order to keep a blog alive and active, we need fresh new content regularly and even the best writers can encounter writers block. The catch is, not only is fresh content vital to survival but it also has to be something that will catch your readers attention and make them want to read it and pass it along.

By following some or all of the suggestions in this post you should be able to find ideas for articles that you hadn’t thought of before. I certainly did. For me it helped me to “think outside of the box” so to speak so I thought it might do the same for my readers.

I hope this has helped to clarify what this article was meant to convey. If you have any other questions or comments please don’t hesitate to post them. I am here to help you any way I can :)
